About Us
Kids Circus Arts was founded by Dorothy Law, an experienced educator who believes every child can grow through movement. With a teacher’s heart and a coach’s eye for safe progression, Dorothy created Kids Circus Arts as a supportive space where children develop strength, confidence, and creativity through circus and aerial training. Our classes are structured, age-appropriate, and encouraging—focused on building strong foundations, celebrating progress, and helping each student feel proud of what they can do. Whether your child is trying aerial for the first time or training toward performance, we’re here to guide them with care, clarity, and joy.
Strength: We build strong bodies and strong habits through safe, progressive training that develops coordination, control, and resilience.
Confidence: We create a supportive space where every child feels seen, encouraged, and proud of their progress—on and off the apparatus.
Creativity: We celebrate imagination and self-expression, helping students explore movement, music, and performance in their own unique style.
Safety First: Proper technique, age-appropriate progressions, and attentive coaching are at the heart of every class.
Growth Mindset: We value effort, consistency, and kindness—because improvement is a journey, not a race.
Our Value
At Kids Circus Arts, our mission is to help children grow through circus and aerial training—developing strength, confidence, and creativity in a safe and inspiring environment. We aim to nurture healthy movement, positive self-belief, and joyful self-expression, while guiding each student to progress at their own pace and shine in their own way.

Q&A: Understanding Aerial Acrobatics
-
Aerial acrobatics is a circus-style sports activity where children learn skills and routines on equipment suspended in the air, such as a hoop or hammock, using strength, flexibility, and coordination.
-
Kids aged 5 and above can join kids-only classes, while children under 5 are recommended to join a parent–kid workshop.
-
The hoop (lyra) is a solid metal ring that focuses on poses, transitions, and spins, while the hammock (sling) is a soft fabric loop that supports wraps, flow, and conditioning; gymnastics and flexibility are ground-based training that builds strength, control, and mobility to support aerial skills.
-
If your child has no gymnastics or dance background, they should start at Intro level; if they have 3–6 months of gymnastics or dance, Beginner level is suitable; if they have at least 12 months of gymnastics or dance or 3–6 months of aerial training, Beginner plus level is appropriate; and Intermediate level is usually suggested by the teacher and fits students with around one year of aerial experience.
